GKM Food Accelerator Programme
Born Maverick was one of 17 businesses to take part in the first round of the Growing Kent and Medway (GKM) Food Accelerator programme. This supports entrepreneurs with the next big food or drink idea, with experts – including Locate in Kent – providing free, technical, business and financial support to take their concepts to market. In 2023, the company was one of 11 food and drink businesses to receive a share of £154,000, given out by GKM for projects seeking to tackle some of the big sustainability challenges facing the horticultural food and drink sector.
