Born Maverick was founded in 2019 by bio-tech scientist and entrepreneur, Azhtar Murtaza. This award-winning start-up is a great example of Canterbury’s growing success in answering one of the big questions of the age – how to sustainably feed the planet at a time of climate crisis.
